Pipe Lining
Full restoration for failing pipelines
Pipes can fail for many reasons, including rust, corrosion, intrusion from roots, or shifting soil that causes breaks and cracks. Without intervention, a damaged pipe will grow worse over time. A complete failure can cause costly back-ups that can damage your home.
Plumbing by Spellman is proud to bring Perma-Liner's trenchless pipe repair system to Emporia and surrounding communities. This technology allows us to perform repairs without costly excavation or destruction of your lawn. Your existing pipes can be fully rehabilitated from the inside out leaving a jointless, seamless new pipe within the old pipe.
How does trenchless pipe lining work?
We use patented Cure in Place Pipe (CIPP) technology from Perma-Liner Industries. After clearing your existing pipe of tree roots or blockages if needed, we insert a pipe liner through an existing clean-out or drain. The liner is inserted through your existing pipe using a pressurized system. Resin within the liner is then exposed to a curing element to make it attach to the inner walls of the pipe. Once fully cured, the lining now acts as a completely new pipeline.
- Works with any pipe type, used for sewers and drain lines, including cast iron, clay, and PVC
- Liner adapts to variable conditions in the pipe

Pipe Bursting
The solution for crushed or collapsed pipes
Old sewer pipes are a common problem in Emporia. Aging pipes can snap or collapse under pressure. For these scenarios, Plumbing by Spellman utilizes pipe bursting technology from Tric Tools. Tric Tools is the industry leader in trenchless pipe bursting equipment.
How does trenchless pipe bursting work?
We use Tric Tool's patented technology to replace your entire sewer line in a single process. A compact hydraulic machine pulls a bursting head through your existing pipeline with incredible force. The bursting head rips through the old pipe while pulling a new pipe in its place. The old pipe is completely destroyed and replaced, so the condition of the old pipe has almost no effect on the replacement process. Unlike pipe lining, there is no loss of internal diameter for your pipes.
The only digging involved is at the end of your yard where the sewer begins, and at the entry point of the sewer line into your home.
Benefits of Trenchless Repair

PRESERVE THE YARD & LANDSCAPING
Trenchless rehabilitation repairs pipelines without the need to dig up existing grass, landscaping, driveway, or patio.

PREVENT DAMAGE TO WIRES & UTILITIES
Not having to dig means any underground cables or utility lines will be left undisturbed.

REDUCE “OUT OF SERVICE” TIME
The less disruptive no-dig process enables water and waste utilities to be turned back on more quickly.

COMPLETE PROJECTS FASTER
Because CIPP repair is less invasive than dig and replace, the duration of projects is much shorter.

SAVE MONEY
Less equipment + fewer materials + faster turn time = a more affordable solution.
